Annual fees are $12.00 per member.
Completion of the Girl Scout registration form does not constitute placement in a Girl Scout troop. A local volunteer will contact each girl's parent or guardian with details of troop openings in the community.

Our Mission
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character who make
the world a better place.
Who Can Join?
Any girl between the ages of 5 and 17 can become a Girl Scout. As a member of the council, girls can participate in program activities that are not only exciting and fun, but also enrich their lives and meet the needs of their communities. The following are the different program levels:
- Daisy Girl Scouts, grades K-1
- Brownie Girl Scouts, grades 2-3
- Junior Girl Scouts, grades 4-5
- Teen Girl Scouts (Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors) grades 6-12
- Adult Girl Scout Volunteers, age 18 and over
Girl Scouting is something uniquely special for each member, girl or adult.
All of the exciting programs, activities and opportunities provide girls with a greater understanding of others and an enthusiasm for learning and trying new things. Friends made through Girl Scouting will last a lifetime.
Daisy Girl Scouts learn to be away from their families by interacting with other children and adults in activities that keep them busy and entertained while introducing them to the basics of Girl Scouting. Daisy Girl Scouts spend time preparing to “bridge” into the next age group by fulfilling requirements for the bridge patch and participating in a special ceremony to mark their movement from one level to the next.
Brownie Girl Scouts challenge themselves and each other in fun activities that teach them about the world. They are especially encouraged to try new hobbies and skills, earning badges, called "Try-Its," for each attempt. Brownie Girl Scouts practice service at home and in their communities.
Junior Girl Scouts look into the community and actively pursue fun projects to work on with one another. These girls help to plan their own activities, which ensures they will enjoy what they do and helps them to learn organizational skills.
Girl Scouts Ages 11 - 17 begin to explore ideas for careers and learn to become active members of their communities. Older Girl Scouts develop their own potential to the fullest in order to bring their dreams into reality. These girls gain experience that fosters the self-confidence to make knowledgeable decisions in later years. Girls have terrific national travel opportunities available to them, called "Destinations". Girls can participate in national events or travel to a foreign country.
