DATE NIGHT - VALENTINE'S DAY BABYSITTING SERVICE, from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Padre Serra Church.  Babysitting for ages:  Potty-trained through 12 years old. 
Cost:  $15 for 1st child and $10 for each additional child.  Price includes dinner (pizza, lemonade and water). Activities: movies, games, coloring books, arts & crafts & fun!
A medical form will be completed when child is dropped off at the event.  The babysitters are from Ambassador Troop 60824 and are first aid and cpr trained. This is a troop fundraiser.

BROWNIE HIKE - February 15 (President's Holiday), from 12:00-3:00
Camarillo Springs Park.  Cost:  $7.00 Brownie Girls Scouts and $2.00 for adults.
Cost includes Brownie Try-It patch and snack.

CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING (See Apri 17 class below)
Wednesday, February 17, from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. & Monday, March 15, from 5:30-10:00 p.m.
Feb. 17 and March 15 classes are full.

THINKING DAY - February 20, from 9:00 a.m. - 12 noon
Camarillo Community Center. Arrive at 8:30 for set-up. Download registration form.
Annual event. This year hosted by Troop 60913.  $5.00 per Girl Scout.  $2.00 per adult.

CPR & FIRST AID TRAINING - Saturday, April 17, from 9:00-1:30 p.m.
Padre Serra Church. Register by April 1.

You are not registered until we receive your registration form and payment.
Cost:  $25 for 1 class; or $35 for both classes.  2-year certification for CPR and First Aid.
Training programs have been reviewed and approved by Girl Scouts USA.

First time going to Kaleidoscope?  If you haven't yet taken the classes listed below, you will need
to take them now.  Also, you will need an adult who is CPR / First Aid certified.
DON'T WAIT TO REGISTER.  THESE CLASSES FILL UP FAST!

Stepping Out  - March 11 -  6:30-9:30 in Camarillo
Outdoor 2A and 2B must be taken TOGETHER FROM THE SAME TRAINERS
Outdoor 2A (STEPPING OUT IS A PREREQUISITE  TO THIS CLASS)  March 18 -6:30-9:30  in Camarillo
Outdoor 2B (Arnaz- Ventura)  March 27-28. Class time is not set yet, but probably noon Saturday to noon Sunday.  Please note this is an OVERNIGHT training. If you don't want to do an overnight, or can't please do not sign up for this training.

TRAIN THE TRAINER - Saturday, April 17, from 9:00 - 5:30 pm

Inspire others as a Council Facilitator. Council Facilitators make adult learning courses convenient and accessible throughout the council.  We are offering the Trainer the Trainer course for those interested in becoming leadership and/or outdoor educators and training new volunteers in vital Girl Scout skills. Past educational experience is not required, just a desire to share the ideals of Girl Scout leadership with other volunteers!
Course Instructor:  Arwen Turner, Girl Scout Services Director, Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast.
Possible 2nd Instructor:  Vicki Law, Chief Operating Officer, Girl Scouts of California's Central Coast.
Cost:  Class is free....Lunch:  $8.00  (MiCaSa Service Unit members - complimentary lunch)

Kaleidoscope is a weekend geared to Girl Scouts in 4th through 12th grades with prior camping experience. It is a progressive step in the Girl Scout program and something Girl Scout Daisy’s and Girl Scout Brownies can look forward to. Kaleidoscope is open to everyone in Girl Scouts of California’s Cental Coast! Registration will open October, 2009. Kaleidoscope will be listed under Resources/Events at www.girlscoutsccc.org.

The Girl Scout program aide (PA) is one of the leadership opportunities for Girl Scouts who are completing 6th grade in June (or older). This program is designed to enable girls to develop leadership skills by sharing their specialized knowledge with younger girls in a variety of settings.
